Interests: Being on stage, basses, travelling, computers, movies, books, nature
Eats & Drinks: Sushi and sea food in general. Whiskey is my choice of poison.
Pets: Being on the road is not really compatible with having a pet.
Influencial bands: Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, UFO, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, to name a few of the bands that got me started.
Nicknames: Red Devil, apparently that’s how I look after doing a show.
Reads: I can’t fall asleep without reading, so I chew my way through a lot of Dark Fantasy and Science Fiction.
Musical background: In a classical music school from the age of 7, picked up my first guitar at 12, my first bass at 16. Got my first recording deal at 17 and stuck to my guns. I’ve been recording and touring with BRATS, GEISHA, =Y=, LACRIMOSA, KINGDOM COME, IRON SAVIOR, STORMWARRIOR a.o., and have been switching a lot between being a lead singer, guitarist or bass player or writing or producing for other people. To some people it might sound odd, but playing the bass is where I can really express myself, there’s still a lot of territory waiting to be explored there.
